Market data next to every client's Search Console numbers

RankUpside adds market data to each client's Search Console searches: monthly search volume, cost per click, a 12-month trend and intent, plus a weekly check of live Google results. It prices the client's clicks at Google Ads rates, so the report shows what the traffic is worth before any CRM is connected.

What it doesn't do: Volumes are country-level estimates, never city volume. Search traffic value is what the clicks would cost as ads, labeled an estimate, and it's never added to revenue. Competitor gaps are coming soon.

What's added to each search.

Search Console gives clicks, impressions and position. RankUpside adds what the market says about the same search, each with a label the client sees, so an estimate never passes for Google's own number.

Volumes are country-level estimates. Clicks, impressions and position stay Search Console's own.

What the traffic is worth, on day one.

Each search with a cost per click prices its clicks at Google Ads rates: clicks times cost per click, added up for the month. The share of clicks that couldn't be priced is shown, never guessed, and the figure appears only once at least 30% of clicks are priced.

Two sources, side by side.

Search Console's average position covers every search over four weeks, across devices and places. The weekly live check is one desktop snapshot from the client's city or country. Both sit next to each other in the app, so a gap between them is visible instead of hidden.

  • Search Console: average position for every search
  • Live check: the rank Google showed on the check date
  • A gap often means a map pack, an AI Overview or a local result

Refresh when you need it.

Market data refreshes on its own each month and the live check runs weekly. Before a client meeting you can refresh one client by hand; the app shows the credits it will use and what's left before anything runs.

What if credits run out?

Search Console data never uses credits, so syncing and reports carry on. Market data and live checks wait until the credits reset.

Market data questions.

Where does the market data come from?
Search volume and cost per click come from keyword data providers and Google Ads data, refreshed monthly. Live rank, map pack and AI Overview status come from a weekly check of Google results. Clients see what each number is, never which supplier sold it.
Is search volume shown for the client's city?
No. Keyword volumes are country-level estimates, and the label says so. Live results, on the other hand, are checked from the client's city for local businesses.
What is search traffic value?
What the client's search clicks would cost if bought as Google Ads at current cost per click. It's labeled an estimate, shows what share of clicks could be priced, and is never counted as revenue.
How many credits does a client use?
It depends on how many searches are checked. Keyword data costs 1 credit per 100 keywords, and each search in the weekly live check costs 2. Numbers are provisional until launch, and Search Console data is always free.
Does RankUpside show competitors?
The live check shows the top 10 domains for each search it checks. Competitor gap analysis is coming soon.
