A fix list for every client, ranked by what's at stake

RankUpside turns each client's findings into one fix list, one item per page, ranked by estimated value at stake, the client's priorities, confidence and effort. Each fix names the page, the searches behind it and what not to touch. Mark it done and the report tracks the result for eight weeks against the whole site's trend.

What it doesn't do: It doesn't edit the client's site. Your team or your AI agent makes the change, and RankUpside tracks what happens next. Results read "consistent with the change", since search has other moving parts.

What's in each fix.

Each fix names the page, the searches behind it, what's at stake, how the cause is known, the work it takes and what not to touch. Open one in the app and it's all there, ready to hand to a writer, a developer or an agent.

Why one fix per page?

Findings are grouped by page before they're ranked. A page whose clicks go to the map pack never also gets a title rewrite, so two fixes can't pull one page in opposite directions.

Where do the searches come from?

Search Console, for the same 4 weeks the fix covers. Up to six of the page's searches show with their impressions, clicks and position.

How the list is ranked.

Four things set a fix's place. The value at stake comes first; the other three weight it up or down. The full formula is on the methodology page.

Value at stake

Clicks the fix could win back, priced at the search's cost per click. Clicks lost on a page with won deals count 3×.

The client's priorities

Services and areas marked "grow these" in client settings move up. Pages with leads or won deals count 1.25×.

Confidence

A cause seen on the live check counts in full. One inferred from Search Console patterns counts for less.

Effort

Value is divided by effort: a title change counts 1×, Business Profile work 2×, so quick wins rise.

Start, done, tracked.

Start a fix when work begins. Mark it done with a short note and the date. From the next week, the page's clicks and position are tracked for eight weeks against the 4 weeks before the change and against the whole site over the same weeks.

Hand fixes to your AI agent.

Copy one fix or the whole list as a prompt, or give Claude Code a read-only key for this client so it pulls the fixes over MCP. Each prompt carries the evidence and the don'ts, and tells the agent not to invent prices, reviews or stats.

  • One read-only key per client, revocable any time
  • The searches, page checks and what not to touch come with each fix

Work done, shown to the client.

Each tracked fix appears in the client's report under Work done and results, with what changed, when, and how the page moved against the rest of the site. The wording stays honest: a result is consistent with the change, never caused by it.

Fix list questions.

How does RankUpside rank SEO fixes?
By the estimated value at stake on each page, the services and areas the client wants to grow, how confident the evidence is, and how much work the fix takes. One page gets one opportunity, so fixes never contradict each other.
What happens when I mark a fix done?
Add a short note and the date. RankUpside then tracks the page's clicks and position for eight weeks against the whole site's trend and shows the result in the client's report.
Can it prove the fix worked?
It shows whether the page moved more than the rest of the site after the change. The report says the result is consistent with the change, because rankings also move for reasons outside the page.
Can an AI agent make the fixes?
Your agent can. Copy a fix as a prompt, or give Claude Code a read-only key for one client so it can pull the fix list directly. The prompt includes what not to change. RankUpside never edits the site itself.
What does "Close to the top 3" mean?
A buyer search where the page ranks between 4 and 15 with enough impressions that a small on-page or linking change could move it into the top 3, where most clicks go.
Can I dismiss a fix?
Yes. Dismiss it with a reason, which stays private to your team, and reopen it any time.
